ASAPROSAR owes much of its success to individual donors and volunteers from around the world who share its vision of empowering the poor and are attracted by the organization's transparency and impact on so many lives.

ASAPROSAR welcomes contributions of any amount for its general operating expenses and seeks sponsorships for its Rural Preschools and "Barefoot Angels" Urban Youth programs.

For $100 a month, you can sponsor a Rural Preschool Program by paying the salary of a teacher who will touch the lives of hundreds of people and make a lasting contribution to an entire community. The program taps the potential of young children during a critical period of their development. In addition, the teachers are trained to diagnose and treat developmental deficiencies before they take a permanent toll.

The preschool program broadens the horizons of these children and their families. Instead of dropping out of school and following their parents into farming and housework, they pursue dreams of careers and a future they never would have imagined.

For $50 a month, you can sponsor one half of a preschool teacher’s salary. For $25 a month, one quarter.

If you would like to sponsor a Barefoot Angel and help keep a child in school and out of hazardous working conditions, the cost is $40 a month. This scholarship covers $80 for books, shoes and uniforms, and $40 a month for 10 months of ongoing school expenses, including bus fare, food, school supplies, and school fees.

With dorm rooms and a cafeteria we are able to accommodate small groups interested in learning and serving. ASAPROSAR has a variety of programs to experience and work with. There are projects with early childhood stimulation, youth leadership and education, environmental management, health services and microcredit.
